Mad Girl's Love Song

Today, while waiting for Mr. Cook to appear (bright little ray of sunshine, he is) and give him the $175 application fee that will undoubtedly go towards the buy-more-shirts and drink-more-beer fund for the folks at Cambridge, Scott told us (the little huddle of arts people) about this lovely poem.

"I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

God topples from the sky, hell's fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan's men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I fancied you'd return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)" --Sylvia Plath

If this isn't neurotic, then I'm not really sure what is.

And so my eye is itchy because the Bad Weather decided that messing up my mucus system isn't enough.

So, I have what feels like a mucky river trickling in the most annoying possible way behind my throat and a itchy eye to boot.

I feel lousy. ):

By the way, I personally find this hilarious.

Boo-Yah

I'm not really sure about you, but I know that when I start to get really excited because Bimin has scanned me my math homework questions (WHICH I LOST AFTER DOING, oh ONLY MORE THAN HALF THE RUDDY THING OF ALL RETARDED THINGS TO DO I WANT TO PASS AWAY NOW), i really ought to be rejoicing at my sudden spurt of zealousness and hoping that it will last while worrying for my sanity and general well-being.

This sounds like a perfect little microcosm (how I love that word, it makes me feel smart) of complexity. It's probably as viscous as well, mucus on a Bad Nose Day.

In case you're wondering, this is purely out of sympathy for Julie, Mr. Harris, myself and all the other sinus sufferers.

May the peace of having a clear nasal passage shine upon you forever.
